Moments that feel
full of life
For sure the taste of my new cake creation with chocolate drops and raspberries; breathing in the clean air being surrounded by the calm presence of trees; playing Bach on the piano; being surrounded by people I feel close to; listening to the waves of the sea or a small stream passing by while watching the unpredictable movements of the water; feeling the wind and rain on my face when getting into a shower on the beach (which in the end turned out really fun!) - sharing ideas that mean a lot to me with the world around me.
These are just a few of many. What lies beneath is a certain sensation and understanding, which - at least for now - is my definition of feeling alive.
With my body I am given the opportunity to perceive and to act in this world.
I am given the opportunity to simply be.
And by that I don’t mean embodying a couch potato 24/7. No.
There are moments in life, and here I can only share my own experience, in which my body resonates with what is happening in the now.
I stop to split myself.
I perceive myself and the world around me as one.
Attention and body share presence in the same moment.
I am free.
